Adjustment to parenthood
Founded in 2015 Mummacare was established as we could see a need for parents to be able to access independant advice and practical support especially in the period immediately following discharge from Midwife care.
We felt there was a need for a 'stepping stone' to support parents bridge the gap between the supportive contact provided by their LMC and managing independantly'.
Mummacare offers a range of holistic services and have a selection of packages that can be tailored to suit individual families and their needs. We have excellent referral pathways into community based support networks as well as specialist services such as Maternal Mental Health and Lactation Consultants.

We offer expert and experienced advice and coaching in breastfeeding or for babies with sleeping difficulties.
While our focus is on newborns who have been discharged from the care of their LMC we can offer extra support to parents in the neo natal period working alongside your LMC.
We have excellent links to specialist practitioners and can offer specialist referral and follow up.
